Performs a reasearch by numerical simulation. The results show that when the make-up air velocity is 7 m/s, the fire plume is seriously inclined; when the velocity is 5 m/s or 3 m/s, the fire plume is slightly inclined; and the velocity of 1 m/s has little influence on the fire plume; and that for the make-up air velocity of 7 m/s, 5 m/s, and 3 m/s, the smoke layer height descends faster; when the make-up air velocity is 1m/s, the smoke layer height descends relatively slower.
